Album of the Month
On April 18th Starkey released Ear Drums and Black Holes. I haven’t been able to stop listening to it. I’m kicking myself for missing him when he came down to Toronto because whatever I was doing was probably not better than seeing him.
Starkey took, grime, dubstep, a bit of funky house, and just an overall grab of electronic music and made this album that touches greatly upon these genres. The whole feel of the album is some kind of outter space trip from take off to moon exploration. Whatever I say can’t do this album justice so just pick it up. $10 is nothing.
